Does anyone know how to find true wholesale businesses?

I'm trying to find true wholesale businesses to buy items in bulk. All I can find online are middlemen who are taking the lions share of the profit. I live in the Dallas area, and any wholesale auctions by large chain stores or true wholesale outfits in this area would be of great interest. Thank you for reading.
